MERCEDES BENZ 500 SEL

General Information: The Mercedes Benz 500 SEL was the 12th of 13 Standard Large Automobiles Daum produced for general distribution. This model was designed by Xavier Froissart in tribute to the largest and most luxurious of the Mercedes 4 door sedans of its time. Some Daum documentation calls this car a 500 SL, but it is clearly marked SEL and is entirely different from the later produced 500 SL.
